a day tops, including making it right. its really pretty basic. grind off the paint, fit the filler and tack in then weld, metal finish the fillers, mark where the buckets will be, cut and fit the buckets, then weld them in and metal finish. from my experience the welding goes pretty quick because of the compound curves at the rear of the bed. it keeps the metal from warping.

Really? you say bagged truck are illegal in virginia? no way!! haha.. I had the phantom grill on for a good while and i never got hassled for it.. I did however got hassled for not having side mirrors.., or not having windshield wipers, or for not having a license p. light.., or try this one on.. for my tail lights being to dim, or for how about this other one.. for driving through the wrong side of town.. "what are you doing around here anyway" said the cop....... what about getting searched, truck stripped, doing the whole sidewalk thing for having a crack on my tail light.. hmm..., but I don't think it has anything to do with my race, truck, or appearance..... racism doesn't exist!! :looney: hahaha..

anyway.. I like the phantom grill look on the 80's model too..

i dont have a choice, im sick of not having my ride be the way i want it to be. i had to deal with the bank messin up my account so i had to make two trips to get my bolts then i had to go get the plugs two different time because they didnt have them both. had i known it woulda been as easy as it was, it woulda been done when i started the front end project 3 weeks ago. i wanna get the billet insert when i get the money too
