if you do it traditionally ... yes if you do a stock floor then no but that means building a frame from the firewall back basically did you buy that core support if not go look at your 4runner thread
i went on friday to order all the parts, but the core cost more than everything, so i didnt get it n then u replied so i was like "whew" but thanks for the help, any more advice?
if you have a body saw it makes it alot easier but if you dont then a cut off wheel will work just fine you dont have to cut much anyways the hard part is just figuring out where to drill the holes at and bolting them in
no the grille attaches to the headlights and its just for the headlights but im tellin ya its real easy
alright sounds good. thats tmw project, i installed my fenders today but my partner had to leave so we culdnt get started on the front end
im keeping my 2wd bumper, but i got a chrome one, and im doing the 4runner grill but i put on 4wd fendersso when i bag it, ill have more turning capability
my last 87 i had 85 celica gts seat in, had to redrill some holes but no biggie, i would have liked them to sit a tad higher though my current truck some one put 82-85 style celica gt seat in, they are ok but i still have the extra gts seats so thats probally whats goin in my current truck.
Driver's side 4Runner bucket bolts in without drilling, passenger side mounts in front OE and rear with two drill holes about two inches forward from rear bench mount and seat belt mount on bench equipped trucks. Gotta get large washers for under body and space up the inside passenger rear support with a few washers to make it level if you're a pefectionist like me. DON'T BUY BUCKET SEATS FROM INDIANA TRUCK SALVAGE IN CORONA! THEY OVERCHARGE!
I've got some mid 90's Celica seat in my 86 std cab, They sit a little bit lower than the stock bench, but I think it's a much better driving position. Went in with minimal effort.
