so found out its not the transmission in my wifes car its the catalytic converter so tomorrow im going to pickup up an air compressor some air tools. Also decided im going to put a wood bed floor in the widow something different. now i don't have to look for another vehicle and i can start working on the truck once this snow goes away

yea im so happy now and im going to look into doing black stain other wise it will be black cherry with the steel strips painted red

once this weather clears up ill start working on it i still need to get some steel and now i need to pick up some wood my plan is to have this truck driving this year. and hopefully next year have it painted

so had a nice day yesterday i put a new starter and water pump on it also ordered plug wires and alternator also was talking to my buddy and we think the wood bed idea wont work to good with tilt bed it would be alot heavier with the wood than steel

 

so was messing with mounting the york compressor with the 302 bracket and what do you know it sits way to high so now time to make a new bracket i guess.

 

There you go its looking good? almost there man, cant wait

Thanks guys! So got my alternator the other day and my new plug wires (10.2 mm very thick) today decided to put them on also figured out the compressor mount and next week ill probably be ordering the steel for everything and also a fuel pump

 

Gots one of those Im pissed off dont bother me feelings to it. Liking that a lot

 

thanks! yeah i love how its turning out i just ordered a radiator for it and next week im ordering all the steel also the fuel pump so hopefully get some nice days to get this beast on the road again.

yeah been having some semi nice days still cold though.
but anyways got my radiator today and test fitted it will have to do some fabricating to the hood and make some mounts here's some pics

 

so received all my steel today also ordered a dual 9 inch fan kit ,fuel pump and a remote oil filter kit hopefully this thing will be coming along real soon

 

Looks good! I want to drop in a electric fan setup into my pickup too.

 

so there's a chance once i get the truck together i may be just putting it up for sale as i may not have a job anymore ill find out for sure tuesday
