    not much to add ...

have been "tinkering" on it every "now and then" .
I have pulled off the back 1/2 again .. because I wanted to wire the LAST pieces .. pump and sender .. pump works awesome , sender NO .

1 of the issues is the fuel warning lamp . /83 dosnt have .. /99 does (dash cluster)

I dont know of any way to wire this issue .. so I'm going to have to use a /99 fuel tank sender and build my own sending unit .

    under way

That's going to look nice! I take it you're going to shoot it yourself?

got the sender done today :) ...
    here's what I had to do ...

first I made the top , just cut it out of some 12G scrap I had ..then I drilled the mount holes ..

trimmed , and finished to a perfect circle (well maybe NOT perfect :) )

I had a few difficulties figuring out the support .. because the hole on the tank is so small .. :-/ there was definatly some "grey matter working " but I got er' figured !!

the mount support , off-set to fit into the smaller hole

and with a little "massaging" I was able to finally "roughly" mount the sender , and stuff it into the tank .

once I was able to fit it .. I needed to support it .
so I made some little brackets , and drilled and tapped the support holes .

this is a pic of the sender as it came out of the /99 is tank ..

and after cutting the original mounts and ground off .. heres what I have now .. with the new clips new ground wire and main support I made .

    and all together

and mounted and tested .. it works YEAAAAAH !!!!

so now I want to send it out for anadizing .. then I will seal the wires ..

Sorry didnt read through the whole thread, but did you upgrade the fuel management to run that supercharger or you keeping it stock? Not to diss, but can it still run on stock fuel system?
