    so finally .. I believe this is the LAST thing I have to "fabricate"

    as you can see it's in really bad shape .. it's fixable , but for the time I would spend fixing it (and it has been done at least once before) I figure I might as well make a new one , with NEW and ADVANCED products .

    so do u already have a mold to make the new canopy?

    little bit more today ..

    got the rear seatbelts installed , also finished the install of the GPS , finished wiring the rear camera and the rear lower seat locks .. also the roll bar is now installed ..
    I was working on the jack and tools install , but was interupted , and had to take it for a little ride again around the compound ..

    talked to the interior guy and the seats are in the works :)

    some progress , notice no more sag on the roof .. :)

    sanded , and very first primer .. good from far !! lots of work yet to do to make it right ..

    i thought so, but i wasnt sure if he had to fix up the old one first to be able to make the new mold..i dont know what all goes into makeing a copy of something..thats y i asked..

    yeah .. so far that is the original top .. lots of bodywork so far and this is what I have .. looks much better in the pics , as it still need lots of work before I can build a NEW fiberglass mold

    but it's coming .....

    so out and about today .. I was driving buy my interior guys place , and I thought I would stop in to see if any progress on the seats ..

    I picked up some plastic "dip" from a local supplier on Monday .. looking at doing the battery hold down in some what of a factory finish .. + I just wanted to try it :)

    I took the J bolt and sand blasted it and dipped it ..
    turnd out well ..

    little bit more work on the roof today .. but I mostly concentrated on the seat tracks ..

    got them all cleaned up , (wow , lots of work) and painted ..

    and dropped them off at the uhpolstery shop .. and wow .. the front bottoms are done :) I love em !!

    Those are some nice seats. Man hurry up and finish thing already.

    I love that attention to detail. cleaning and painting a set of seat tracks like that is truly one of the crappiest jobs ever

    one of the worst pieces I did , they suck .. took almost all day ..
