trans removal

    how do i remove trans to change my clutch

    i would suggest buying yourself a manual, not sure what motor you even have but if its a 22re just loosen the bolts that are holding it to the engine, there is two on top behind the head that go into the block, they are a PITA! I just take em all out remove the drive shaft and man handle it out on my chest, i think i took out that crossmember too

    Starter

    Dont forget to remove your starter.Take off drive shaft and wiggle it left to right to get it off the spline. And get ready cuz its pretty heavy.

    i'm doing a trans rebuild, but i have some pretty step by step instructions on removing the trans out of an 82 4WD long bed here: TURBO's L52 (rebuild in progress)
