i went from my show to my boys pad for his bday n got hammered... i got the house to myself... then today i was at work n i ended up bein $8 short on my cash drawer n i was just askin my manager for more cash register shifts... so i gotreal down on myself cuz idk how i culda missed a payment or anything...

my manager? naw he asked if it was my first mess up, which it was... but i was too down on myself, because i gotta bust my ass 10x as more to show that im not slipping off

went to stereo comp today at my buddies work. we metered the 6 1/2's in my truck for the hell of it to see how loud they get. I hit 116.3 db with 'em runnin off the head unit.

 

damn... my boy only had 2 15s in his jeep compass... he hit 140.8

 

yeah, but to get to 140 is doin good. Cause for every 3 db gain, it's twice as loud. but yeah, 116 db for two 6 1/2's is not bad at all.

 

yea especially since my boy hit 140 n he had amps n subs so yea ur right there! i wonder wut i wuld hit with my speakers...

 

I'd guess close to what I did. My old system with one JL 10" and a 250 watt amp hit 133. I hope to get in the 145-150 range with whatever system I decide to go with in the truck.

 

well im runnin 6.5s in my doors, 4" in the dash, n 2 6x9s behind my seat n i feel a lil bit of bass

 

then you might get closer to 120. I just need a job so can get started on it. I figure I'm not gonna rack my brain trying to figure out a system when I have no money....lol
