no, we just went to practice on our putting & approach mainly I think I figured out what system I'm gonna run tho
haven't figured that out yet, other then its a bedbox and it will probably be ported. I have figured out what I'm gonna run. 2 sets of components: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_components.php?comp_id=526 this amp to run the components: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/prod...y_id=20&item_id=111370&locale=en_US&p_status= 4 subwoofers: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=32 2 sub amps: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/prod...y_id=19&item_id=108231&locale=en_US&p_status= with RF wiring
Yeah, 4 10's in the bed. Probably run ported so it will be louder. Total system power will be 900 watts at 2 ohm. All 3 amps will be run at 2 ohms.
Ive heard that its best for both the port and subs to be firing into the cabin, that would make it the loudest as opposted to having only 1 firing into the cabin. Also just realized that since the subs displacement is small then you wont need a huge ass box.
It says they require 1.125 cu ft ported per sub. My last system I had only 1 10" that required 1.25 cu ft and I had a 2 cu ft custom box made for it, it was loud for 1 10". I hit 133.3db
Good job. Well no matter about this one cause it will be sick no matter what. And overall the box shouldnt be that big. 6 cubes if anything should be big enough cause after displacement and port going come down a bit.
Yeah, I'm not looking to be super loud. More for the "wow" factor. I do want it to sound good at high volume levels, tho. I'm sure it will. I am gonna have a buddy of mine build the box. He is a professional installer and even went to Rockford's tech school. He's gonna build the box so it should put out some descent SPL.
I think it would be sick to lay frame and laying out some serious low end as well. Nice trucks i see are mostly fiberglass installs or fiberglass this, fiberglass that. A blowthrough and laying frame, definatly unique. You can tell people the system did that to your truck. Hahahaha
lol...I'm still not sure if I wanna bag it or not. The problem is if I make the box too big I won't be able to cut the bed for the c-notch and suspension work.
I think from the begining of the bed to the fenders is big enough for a box. (L,W,H wise) If not do a custom back half. Or if theres not enough space do a sealed box(i know, i know) It could work because it would act like a bandpass box going into the cab.
I know if I do a sealed box I could bag it no problem. Part of my reasoning behind this truck was to stay with the static drop cause no one does 'em anymore. Plus, I've always wanted a big system.
sup J. finally you got here. ill be back though. And yups id have to agree. Bags+blowthrough+Bd?=siiiick
