Finally had enough of the retarded stock wiper arms...went to a local pull-it yard. Picked up a set of volvo 240 arms. The perfect fit for less than $5. Amazing how something so simple can make you happy.:clapping:

Claybarred the truck, compound, polished, waxed, almost done waxing the truck.

Haven't done that since before I joined the airforce.

Just installed a Blox 490 weighted shift knob. The difference is night and day! It cured the vibration noises from the LC short shifter and the notchiness! I thought it was all hype, but I just want to drive everywhere now! Unfortunately the shop only had gold and chrome left :(.

Nice to see you guys working on your toys.
Today I changed the transmission fluid in my W58 from Synchromesh to 80w-90 GL4 stuff because the synchromesh is a light fluid. Once it hits operating temp (maybe before), that **** is way too thin.

when I drained it after a 3 minute drivearound, the fluid was like a room temperature cappuccino put inside the microwave for 10 seconds, that's what it felt like and it was as thin as cappuccino.

After I put new fluid in that's proper, **** feels so much better!

I gave my friend my old OEM taillights for his 4WD 89. :)

Tuned the truck a little better, dyno to be scheduled soon to see what a 2rz built motor at 15psi can do. It should be around 350hp I'm thinking. Pending poly urethane bushings to be swapped for the stockers and small kine sound system pioneer player, infinity coax 6.5, kicker sub and amp.....I'll keep you all posted when finished. :waytogo:

I bought it then removed the canopy styleside, seats and wires that went nowhere.
