last friday i cut out part of the interior sheet metal, In the ext cab portion where the bottom seat cushion rests. I did that so my sub box could sit lower and i could slide my seat back more.

Saturday i painted the back wall of the cab.

    Sunday i recharched the battery...

Monday i found popped the hood again and saw a rat running over the engine so i put some that poison stuff in where its nesting.

tuesday i sat in my kitchen looked into the backyard and n remembered the good times when it was still running

Today ima go check for dead rats...

    yes.

just ordered new studs. i'm tired of working on this part, its time for it to work right so i can look into other things.......like hiding the wiring and such.

Good luck! damn, slide your seat back some more? how much more can you slide back? hahahahaa

Yup! Good plan sir, I was wondering if the rest of the exhaust is causing it to "turn" and theoretically pop off.

Glad to see you get somewhere at least!
Hope the fix can be over with for once haha.
Sometime when it gets significantly cooler, i want to pull out the bottom bolts to my timing chain cover and redo them... there's some sort of tiny oil seepage... bothers me.

owch! man, you gotta be careful! how did you manage that?

About to sleep, but yesterday I bought an oil filter and 5w-30... but not any oil filter.
    Did my research.
90915yzzd1 is the factory size... compact.... 160sq in for filter media, great filtering.
90915yzzd3 is the factory tundra size.... similar, 203sq in for filter media, great filtering. same thing, longer..

then i decided to do more researching. Purolator PureOne filters have AMAZING filtering... up high on the list, pretty much equal to the OEM and Bosch I believe.

Purolator PureOne PL3001 - aka as the jumbo size filter :D
thing is MASSIVE. taller and wider than the yzz-D3
    400sq in of filtering media.

    talk about fckn overkill.

So i'm ready to do my oil change :D

but, before i fill her all up, i'm going to pull a few bolts... I got some bolts or two seeping out oil.... This is why you dont ever rush a timing chain.... without a torque wrench. Anyway, bigass oil filter! :D

    makes my engine look... TINY.

Anyway, I was driving home... heard something...

missing an exhaust manifold stud/ nut
