    Are there any third members for the rear end of a 78 that are direct bolt on with lsd?

    That one would require a complete v6 axle.

    V6 has an 8" diff, if yours has an 8" diff then in theory it SHOULD work

    I'll have to double check the vin plate. But I don't think the 78 came with an 8 inch axle.

    78s didn't come with V6. I don't think Toyota even made V6s in 1978...

    I thought 1Tons came with an 8" axle?

    Yea never said anything about a V6 just mentioned the 8" diff
