I’m trying to wire up this tach but I don’t seem to be getting signal from the coil. I’m assuming I’m plugged into the neg side of the coil with the green wire here yeah?

 

NM I got it working, green is correct for signal. My switched 12v was wrong and causing the problem.

 

This is what I ended up doing. Tied into the fuel pump for power and ignition. The mirror fell out on the right side so I figured fuck it.

 

I assume thats a little hard to see but makes it easier to adjust idle speed

 

I mean it's not too bad but function wasn't top of the list lol. I thought it was neat, kind of a homage to this kaido racer thing I saw where they put a boost or tach gauge in the rear taillight on their skylines.
