Honestly he would be happy to learn to drive it and have it. I feel like it will get fucked up or stolen is he takes it to school though. It gets a lot of attention. Down here they are not very common especially clean and hooked up. I would probably have to raise up the front, in order to make it a better daily for him. If it was all stock and i could teach him to drive it and build it a little at a time, that probably would have worked better. Just looking for something he can commute his last year of high school and goto UM / FIU for the Airforce ROTC program to become an officer in the USAF. The truck wouldn't last a week sitting in that College parking lot in the heart of Miami. I dont want him to worry if his car is still there when he comes out at the end of the day. Its too easy of a target in the 305.

That's just sad that a human has been on the planet long enough to be in the chair force yet doesn't know how to drive a manual transmission. It's a different world we live in now.

That chair force is helping defend your freedom and I'm proud that my daughter and my son will be part of it. Almost none of the new vehicles in the military are manual anymore.

Most wars are fought from the air now and the logistics of the Air Force is the backbone of the military. Only the cream of the crop in the chair force.

I'm not sure there is a manual equipped rig left in any branch of the military these days.

No need to get defensive, every time we discussed vehicles I called my nephew Susan until he finally learned to drive stick.

So...I have the truck on Craigslist and some guy texts me out the blue asking about the truck. He was certain it was his old truck. Turns out he sold it to the guy I got it from and is one of the original owners. He complimented what I had done to it and was telling me how he wishes he could buy it back because he misses it. He sent me a few pics of the truck the way it used to look. Small world!

This is how I got it when I bought it originally.

Hey bro hope all is well have a question. instead of adjusting the little wheel to get the right tach reading for my 22're can't I just take off the hand and move it a bit forward cause I'm using a v6 tach everything else is working fine but I know I'm getting the wrong tach reading my tach is saying like400 rpm but I know it's not doing that it's idling at least 800

My truck is officially for sale. I have gone back on forth on this for a minute now. My house is for sale and I am moving and cant take her with me. It was a fun project for a little while. I wish I had the time and money to see it through to what I intended.

Besides cleaning up the look of the engine bay and clearing a EGR related check engine light there was no real noticeable difference.

Biggest noticeable difference came with the LCE headers and LCE cold air intake. I read that a lighter flywheel is a nice upgrade also. Everything else is just so it looks nice.
