Very cool Seth, quick and tidy work to boot!

Typical question here, but will you eventually BD it?

:DI like how you make a hand me down half-assed-seeming job look good:D

I see the battery in the back. What's the easiest way to wire it in back there? I know you have to ground the battery but what else must be done?

Not this one, just want to keep it simple. I have other projects too, and I need to keep them in check. Can't let them all snow ball or I wont have anything to drive.

I'm definitely not half assing this truck, one of my friends said this is probably the best suspension setup I have built to date. I'm basically just working on a budget (meaning I have spent money, and I did break my original budget by letting things snowball), and trying to gather as many free or used parts as possible, or trading for parts.

Anyways the battery, yes it needs to be grounded in the back. Still a good idea to ground your motor in the front, and make sure the body ground is still intact. I will be running a 2 gauge wire up to the starter, and 4 gauge to the compressors and stereo stuff.

The battery I got was free, but pretty much just for mock up because it is believed to be dead. Got some free 2 gauge cable from grandpa, and I have spent $60 on stereo stuff now.. I got a free used sub, had a head unit, used credit card points for some door speakers, and bought a used amp for $60 because it was scratched up a bit.

The bed is in okay shape, Bob started raising the floor and added a roll pan. The bodywork is about 15 years old or so, but its not in that bad of shape. So I think I will just leave it in its patina type look as it is. There is no interior so I am collecting pieces to build one. Will need to get door poppers at some point too, there are not any in it anymore.

If you wanna come hang out and help on the weekends you're more than welcome. You wont be the only one. Offer still stands to build a quick parameter frame on the table for your truck if you help out. Really anyone is welcome to come by the shop.

Well crap I was thinking the shop was down south... I'm running up an down I5 every week down to the bay. If ya need anything of reasonable size hauled from up north lemme know and we'll see what we can do about getting it to ya.

About the only first gen thing I have left out of my interior is the sr5 dash cluster and wiring harness...

I'm in Windsor, Santa Rosa area.

You come to the bay area? That seems pretty far from Washington lol. Right now I think I've got most of my parts settled aside from a good battery, brakes, and little stuff, but thank you.

    Thanks man.

I officially need to get this on the road quick. My S4 is starting to show signs of needing a new turbo, which means it needs bigger ones.

I'm down in Hayward every week with a load of darigold cheese. :D

My haul offer doesn't pertain to this build exclusively, if it'd save ya on shipping something from up here no problem.

If you really want that single 45dcoe9 setup shoot me an offer. I've got a number in my head I want for it, lets see if we agree. :D

I would like to have it, but now with the turbo going in the Audi, I think I need to just get this drivable so I can take the S4 off the road and do the turbos. Need to save up about $4-5K just to do them.
