All of my radiators use stock frames / mounting (32 Ford, 50 Mercury, 1983 Toyota, etc.) with custom cores and were built by a local radiator shop (Madenfords, Fleetwood, PA). The deuce and Merc use custom fan shrouds with Ford Taurus fans and the Toyota uses the stock fan shroud with the Ford Taurus fan.

The Taurus fans are great. Two speed and about 16" I think. Did you wire low to a constant power and high to a thermostat switch and/or toggle? That's my plan. Always on low, high when I need it.

My electric fan's low speed is wired to a Ron Francis Wire Works temperature sensor and a high amp relay circuit that incorporates an Auto / Man toggle switch and my my electric fan's high speed is wired to my A/C Amplifier and a high amp relay circuit that incorporates an Auto / Man toggle switch. My engine's oil cooler electric fan is wired the same way.

Sounds pretty simple. Lots of ways to run it. I like that.

Just so you know I ordered a all aluminum 2 core for a pickup/4 runner v6 off eBay for $160, I'll let you know how it fits/mounts when I get it.. figured just getting a new(read not clogged haha) all aluminum one would help cooling a lot!

Awesome. Either the upper or lower holes will work then redrill the other pair. Make sure you can close the hood before you drill ya know. And be prepared to extend the lower radiator hose. Ill get pics of mine if you can't find any on the build thread.

I put my radiator in yesterday/today and it actually fits quite nice! I also switched to a 180 thermostat instead of a 195:cool: I havnt really driven it yet, did about 10 miles total, maybe 2 of them on the freeway. Didnt hit 190*!

Heres a couple pics for you!

It doesnt hang much lower then stock, maybe an inch?

Ended up lengthening the lower hose 5ish inches, had to weld to short pieces together and i think i have a pin hole... The fan is about 2" away from the radiator so no worries there.

Heres the one I bought: Sillatoyota 1989 95 Pickup 1988 91 4 Runner 2 Row All Aluminum Radiator | eBay

I actually think its a 3 core, but eitherway, its bigger then the stocky

Between the new radiator and lower temp thermostat I haven't hit 190*! I think it was worth it!
