I made them... Not real hard, just takes a little time and effort. They arn't professional quality, but I wasn't about to cut holes in my doors.
thats a pretty sick ass yota. while you are messing with the master, you might want to look into the early 80s boosters and masters. smaller diameter for clearance, and possibly a bigger piston bore for a little extra brake power. anyways, those stock rims are the ****. i want em. lol. are they 14s or 15s?
AWESOME truck. Love the theme- you nailed it perfectly. Can't wait to see the spread in MiniTruckin'. Couple questions: Do you have pics of what you did to your crossmembers? At the moment, I think I'd be happy to lay on my front one. Also, I noticed you were discussing flipping ball joints but it looked like twisted minis suggested cutting you lower arms. How did that all work out? Finally your rear suspension settup is amazing. Is it all from scratch or did you use a company? Any info or links are appreciated. Thanks!
They're 17x7's with the max backspacing available. So the Front Crossmember is stock. I'm litterally laying on the bottom of the lower control arms, the crossmember (sorta). We had to heat and bend the pitman arm (about 3/4") as well as the idler arm. This got the drag link off the ground. If you look at the lowers, the end closest to the center of the truck are squared off. I had to seriously round those off. Almost into the bushing. The transmission crossmember was completely remade by the guy who did the rear end. (www.nfamusairsuspension.com) The last crossmember, the one thats welded in was replaced with a piece of round tube. The uppers and lowers are a story in themselves. I put 4 pie cuts in the upper, and stepped the lowers. (Kinda like a Z) I think I included pics. All new ball joints from Rock Auto. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
They are 14's I think. Someone brought to my attention that they are rare OG toyota truck wheels. LOL, they're sitting in my back yard.
