Hey quick question, did you happen to find a bummer off of an identical Toyota or did you retrofit something else to work? Asking because my front bumper is kind of mangled and would love to fit a clean one on eventually.

Here is an idea for the paint match.

Get some steel wool, break some off enough to cover your hand. Scrub the door back and forth in the same direction. Start real soft no pressure, either front to back or up and down don't change directions once you have started and never circles. You can add more pressure once you see how it looks. Just remember you can not un-due once you have gone to far. This will scrub the paint, it will add some patina to it and help blend the hard edges.

    Second option:
Buy some racing stickers and stick them on the doors to cover the paint. Summit racing always sends out some nice stickers with their orders.

The bumper is from same generation Toyota truck. I think 75-78 all have the same bumpers and 72-74 have different bumpers and mounting brackets.

Pulled the trigger on Speedhut gauges back in March during their March Madness sale. Took awhile to get these shipped. Was going to wait to install them until after I'm done with the suspension and brake. Been having some issues with stalling so I'm just gonna replace the fuel pump, sending unit and do the gauges at the same time.

I like those analog gages. Looks sleek! I like the temp and oil pressure layout.

@jetas I need help wiring oil pressure sensor. How did you wire it your oil pressure gauge? I thought I can just swap the speedhut oil pressure sensor with the factory sensor, but when I look in the manual, the wire coming out of the sensor gets tee off to fuel pump circuit at the relay. Did you tee off the speedhut wire as well? I'm thinking it might not work since the factory wire's designed for the dummy light.

The speedhut sensor i installed in one of the oil passages and just ran the harness they provided. Didnt need to touch any other wiring. The OE sensor wont work with the gauge.

Ok, I’ll look for another oil pressure port on the block. Thank you!

Just remove the dummy light sensor, you wont be needing it

    What engine is in it?

Yeah I was gonna remove and swap it with the speedhut sensor until I saw that diagram in the manual. The dummy sensor wire is part of the fuel pump circuit. I’m guessing that’s to cut of the power to the fuel pump if oil psi is too low for safety reason.

    It’s 20R.

Could always get a T fitting so you can run both still. May look a little funky but itl work
