That shifter boot looks insane! Are you going to make an arm rest?

Thanks, it came out of an Audi. Hopefully it won't look out of place in an old truck.

I won't be making an arm rest. I have the metal Tuffy center console which came with an arm rest. Just making an extension for it.

Finished the center console and dropped it off at the upholstery place. Will get it back next week. Made a new battery tray with some left over scrap metal in the mean time. Replaced battery cables and ran wirings for the stereo. Decided to add a small sub under the passenger seat. Just need a little bit of bass. Also picked up a set of new seat belts. Plan on putting the interior back together in the next couple of weeks.

Need to figure out why my charging warning light is on. It appears to be charging though. I suspect my external voltage regulator is going bad.

Where did you get the battery wire hook ups? I need something like that.

I like the battery tray and hold down, did you just fab that up from scratch? Mines held in place by gravity and the good lord.

Thanks man! It doesn't sound very good. Surprisingly loud for a little sub, but it's not like deep clean bass you get from a 10 or 12. I don't really care for the quality of the sound cos the truck is too damn loud anyway. Just need some bass.

Thanks man! Yeah made it from scratch. My original battery tray is just really rusty and the previous owner put a sheet metal screw on the edge to keep the battery in place.

Got sidetracked and made a steering column mount for a tach left over from my last project. Also wanted to use up remaining fiberglass resin. Eventually I'd like to go similar Speedhut instrument setup like @jetas

But, this will suffice for now!

Hahaha that is clever. I loved the ingenuity to create the tack mount.

That's cool! I'm barely getting started on my fiberglass skills. Molds are my current obstacle! Really nice touch man, almost looks OEM.

That custom pod turned out really nice.

I might have to steal that idea and use it on my Oldsmobile first - currently I have a tach ziptied to the column, haha

Thanks. I just started fiberglassing with my dash. It's actually not too bad once you get a hang of it. Just really messy and time consuming. I've watched a lot of youtube vids on it. This guy's really good.

Yea definitely gota do some more homework! Ultimately I want to replace my body panels with fiberglass, and eventually with CF! But this lit a bulb in my head, as I never thought to add FG to my interior!
