OIL press. gauge doesnt work

    i have a 1985 carbed truck and it had the single cluster the one with only the speedo and i changed it to the sr5 cluster and i changed the pressure switch on the block to a gauge sender unit and after a while the gauge on the cluster stoped working. any one got any solutions. thanxs.
