Ok bro I checked it out and you have it hooked up the right way.The only thing I can't see from your pics is the thicker guage white wirre coming off the bottom ofthat plate with the red wires goes directly to my pos. battery terminal.

Man this is a tuff one . That white wire on your truck or any of the red ones going into that fuse block ..doesn't have fusable link in it does it ? It would look like a fat section possibly wrapped in black heat shrink tube . Some trucks have them maybe u got one ...I have a feeling u do I'm running out of ideas do u have three ground wires next to your fuse box on the fender well

I looked at my harnes that runs across the front of the radiator and its just headlights and alternator wires and distributer wires I can't see any of that keeping u from at least having headlight power or radio there has to be a disable link on that white wire

Fusable Link Replacement - YotaTech Forums

It's worth a shot to look at that white wire I looked at mine and its solid no link
But if the link blows no power to anything apparently some trucks got both a removable fuse and a link fuse that white wire can be replaced with a nice peace of amp wire with good connections

Maybe the fusable link that scrub88 is talking about has been directed on mine. You can see where the white wire was blacktaped a short way down after my terminal.I dont remember doing this It might have been done by the previous owner

Yea rain sucks so does cold azz nights ..I assume mine has been changed as well or deleted cause my wire is black solid I hope that is your problem I'd just make a power wire that can screw into that plate and then to the battery and see what happens ..

It goes straight off the plate to the possitive terminal.look at my pic.If there is something in the middle somewhere eliminate ot and make it a solid line from that plate on the 80amp straight to the possitive terminal.Thats how my truck is.

Mines like that to they do sell this peace at napa and maybe autozone or the dealer ship just take your metal plate and break the old white wire off keep the plate get u some nice ring terminals one for the battery and one for the little plate and a nice peace of 6 or 8 gauge old amp power wire will work .

To connect it just use the screw in connection were the single red wire is bolted in just slide your ring terminal and wire on we're that red single wire is and run it down and outta the fuse box

That little square plate gets 12v no mater what it just a multi hookup hot side so attaching your new wire just above we're the old wire was connected should be the same

No scrubb88 that plate in your fusable link pic is the plate for the 80amp.On your pic it shows a break in the line a short ways down from the plate where they eliminated whatever was on there a directed it to the battery.[IMG][IMG]This is mine.straight off the plate to the positive battery terminal.I dont understand why you would break it off.
