Sorry the gauges didn't fix the issue, at least now you have some extra bulb sockets and a parts cluster :D

It was worth a try and it helped to point me in the right direction. Now hopefully the Thai sending unit works correctly.

I have to say tho, the circuit board on your cluster was much cleaner than mine

Maybe look on Summit Racing and see if a universal sender will work?

Thanks bro. I pulled them at the junkyard years ago. The PO had put a bench seat in mine too but it was some weird middle seat out of like a wagon or something. Ripped that shit out soon as i could

My bench is out of a 78 Hilux the PO had as a parts truck. Unfortunately the bench is welded into position, so it doesn't slide (not that I need it to, but still) He also chopped the center console to fit with the bench in there :doah:I like the look of the bucket seats without the head rests, the upholstery job on yours looks great too.

In the last year I've seen at least 5+ of those consoles for sale between CL part outs and eBay, they're around.

So yesterday the Thai fuel sending unit arrived. Like @fred.d.k mentioned in his build thread, it had to be tweaked. I couldnt get a non fluctuating reading til i messed with it. Got it within spec and dropped the tank.

Im going to test it with the gauge before i even install it. Il post up my findings later today

Not much progress since my last post. I got some "black housing" headlights for the high beams and they turned out to be just tinted. Either way i liked the look and i got the grill zip tied on just to see how it would look and i dig it. I also blacked out the chrome on the projectors. Once i figure out what the deal is with my photobucket account il post pics.

Also picked up a welder so im practicing with that, looking to redo the trans crossmember along with a few other things.

Heater is still in place and fully functional. The W58 shifter sits a couple of inches further back than the stock one did so i have a bit more space
