Well I've searched for an aftermarket hood like a 4" cowl or anything for that matter but no luck. So if u have a custom hood show some pics thanks!

I sent an email to them and it's gonna be around $630. So....NO, Ima just order a decent made cowl scoop and mold it on myself. I've got plenty of resin and mat laying around from sub boxes and door pods anyway!

You know molding a fiberglass scoop to a steel hood is a bad idea.
The steel hood expands and contracts with the heat from the engine and the scoop will crack loose eventually.
To prevent cracking you would prolly have to cover the entire top of the hood in glass and then smooth it out, that's a big job for a skilled glass man.
I've been doing this since 1986 and I've done a couple like that,I try to talk my customer in going a different route when they ask me to do a graft on.
I wont even guarantee a grafted on fiberglass scoop.
If you're gonna graft on a scoop, do it in steel it will be less likely to crack out.

Yeah I talked to buddy of mine and he's got a steel 4" cowl I might use. I saw an orange yota in the new minitruckin with a giant scoop and. They look sick.

I gots no truck, for now
just cut the bubble section out of the hood and extend it up. ill get pics of my buddies truck where we did that, looks almost factoryish. course we used metal instead of glass but still the effect is subtle and you gain the clearence neccessary.

If I wasn't unemployed I would get one made but my wife wouldn't agree to a $650 hood. Lol hopefully our beloved blue springs ms plant will open and give me a job

If you can use one right out of the mold like the one in the pics I posted you can get out for 429.00 + shipping (average 85.00)
