I actually bought it polished, and just repolished it with Mothers polish to get it to shine. So $30.

I love those pieces. They aren't aftermarket, they're out of a base model 1980 Toyota. Its the one I cut thr roof off of. It was a really well kept truck that got into an accident. By the time I found it the interior was gutted the doors were gone the bed was gone and the motor/tranny/axle were gone. But everythign else looked brand new. So I took the roof and dash inserts. My truck is an SR5, so it had the ugly ass fake woodgrain inserts.

Also got some smog/wiring stuff, new window regulators for both sides, a set of Asco 3/8" valves, a gallon of paint , and a set of new pedals to remodify and maybe send out for chrome if theres time.

Also, need badly and very quickly a one piece rear window for a 79-83 truck. IF anyone has one lemme know.

I'll check it out. I'd rather not travel. I foudn one like 2 hours away. But in the Mustang it would cost me $40 to get there and back. I could have a new window for not much more than the gas would cost.

have them ship it to you. also try pirate4x4.com, yotatech.com in the classifieds. I found one of my windows on one of those forums. I had 2 different windows shipped to me, then I sold them and shipped both of them, one to hawaii with no problems.

I check the pirate board quite often. Just don't post there, because that place is worse than SSM.

Yeah, I've been driving around looking at them on the daily for a while now. And it finally clicked, "Those would look sick on my truck."

That is one sick truck man! keep us updated on the progress! My toyota was an 81 and i still miss it today. Don't ever let Franky go you'll regret it in the long run i just sold my 88 and lost interest in her. And the guy that bought her of me helped me put it back together now i want her back! So keep frank these old skool trucks are hard to come by! I guess i'm gonna start working on my daily driver and making her my show rig!
Keep up the work on franky Twistedmetal. Franky is looking real sweet.

    Thanks Muddertrucker.

Skip, they're 64-66 Mustang mirrors. No idea why my 67 has them. 67-68 came with square mirrors. Lol.

Most of the wiring is done. The ignition just needs to be wried, and some little interior stuff.
