help with install of bumper

    85 2wd xtracab dlx 22r auto
    working on a 86 2wd. he bought the truck without front end, trying to install the front bumper, bought bumper and valance and bumper brackets off of ebay, but how does the bumper hook up to the brackets as the bumper has no bolt holes etc in it? pics would help alot too. thanks.
