So while driving my truck last friday I got board of the plain black gauge bezel and the the mind wondered. So Monday was a holiday I went to my pick and pull and bought the bezel trim only. Got home cleaned it up and thought of how to separate the two parts. Heat gun was not working so I picked 200* in the oven and 10 mins bake time. That allowed me to get half undone. 5 more mins and it popped open. So now I have the window cleaned and that is why the window is still wet I'm going to improve on this farther. Should have it "done" by Sunday but well see. Anyways on with the pics. Sorry for the novel.

 

what are you going to do to it? thats how i got mine open, with the oven, but i was impatient as you probably see the crack. I painted mine when i was painting my truck

 

I'm thinking some paint and pinstripe with the billet bezel should look cool. I though I was going to crack mine but it just put it back in the oven if it fought me.

 

yeah that would be cool, im anxious to see what you do...I just picked up an SR5 cluster myself that i'm modding, i want to paint it like my first one but this time i'll have more patience
