Looking for any interchange number that replaces Toyota part #46410.
1978 standard cab. Need the front cable, not the two side cables. No luck with rock auto etc. thanks, fred

I ran the 2wd cable off a 3rd gen but it is a little short to run on my 73 without flipping the arm and welding the retainer to the other side. A 4wd 3rd gen should work without mods just more cable then you need.

Thanks. Ended up going through the dealership. Got the correct cable for $52.(ouch!).
Tried using factory number for aftermarket manufacturing. No luck. Sometimes you gotta bite the bullet.

I got to remember to check the dealer every now and again. I live about a city block away from one. Been needing a hood release cable. Can only find generic for 45. If it was for 20 I wouldn't hesitate. Pretty sure I can get the real deal for not much more or even less.

Dealer tells me speedometer cable is NLA. Next thing on my replacement list.

Get a good look at the back of the cluster. They have 2. One that clips in and one that threads in. On mine it was the clip. I bought the treaded. lol
