yeah i agree fbi sucks and aim has really good customer service i bought an 3 gallon air tank and it was suppose to have 8 ports and only had 5 i really didn't care but i called and talked to them and ended up getting a good deal on the water trap and few other things with free shipping so i would say aim is pretty good.

nope, i've never used them. i have only ever read of one complaint. a roll pan that didn't fit right. having seen some of the work they have done they seem to know their stuff. but customer service and fabrication are two very different things.

I won't even read though the whole post ,as this is bashing,& there's no place on this site for this!
FBI as always been fine with me & I am not a member!
As always made good any problem( and there have been few)!
I have been doing business with them for 8 years, & can say Steve ,Dan ( now gone) & Phil have always gone out of their way to make a customer welcome & do what needs to be done for them!

Gary, i wouldn't post anything bad if they made an attempt to help resolve the issue. if you read the following posts i mention they have been helpful in the past. I'm just really irritated by the lack of custom service. i would have been perfectly fine if when i placed my order on the 22nd they would have sent an email and told me the parts are on back order. i work at a dealership and understand that sometimes parts just aren't available. i sent emails asking them to update me. i didn't send anything rude, i provided my name and order number and never received a response. i waited patiently for parts that are pretty much "off the shelf" items, and after almost two weeks they hadn't updated me on the status. i have always recommended them in the past because i had received good service. i will no longer recommend them since i have been wronged. word of mouth sucks for business. If a plumber came to my home and did a crap job i would tell everyone to not use them, if they did a great job i would recommend them. I'm not trying to spread hate or discontent on the forum. i enjoy toyotaminis, and try to contribute as much as possible. i hope people who, like you, have had good experiences with FBI post in this thread. in the end it will help people make an educated decision on who they choose to buy parts from.:)

got ya. i don't have a problem with anyone on here. i have a problem with the guys at fbi. i was incredibly pissed off when i made my rant, but try not to let things bug me. gary posted his opinion in a polite manner so there would be no reason for me to go off like an ass and start and argument. i will get my refund, and go elsewhere with my business. i won't go back to fbi. i try to go by that saying "screw me once, shame on you. screw me twice shame on me".

Sorry you had a problem with FBI, I know early on a lot of people said the same thing, shipping issues.
I personally have had no problems, as I usually call them ,than drive up there!
Orders shipped were always only days.
Also they have been working on a national over the counter distribution of their parts, which will benefit us all, if this comes about!

thats probably the exact reason i have no complaint with aim. they are about 5 minutes from where i work so when i need something i just go to their warehouse.:waytogo:

my tabs and weld in bushings came from suicidedoors.com today. i sent an email 2 days ago and recieved a response today with a tracking number. my ONLY complaint is i was shorted one tab. i emailed back and told them so we will see. i will say the tabs and bushings they sell are top notch. for the $6-7 they cost its way better than cutting them yourself.

I've read the thread a couple times now & I don't think Bernie was bashing FBI. He was wronged & was letting everyone know about it so they can watch out for themselves.

If people start thinking that stating your opinion is bashing then there wouldn't be alot said on these forums. IMO
