    engine swap info

i just typed in engine swap info on yahoo search and it pops up as engine swap info the site link was mindspring.com/~jayk3/toyota/swap.htm it says the lift may be reqiured because of the rear mounted distributor on chevy v8 and you will need a 4 core radiator and you have to do some sheetmetal work to move the radiator foward an 1 1/2'' -2'' i think im going to look for a ford 5.0 it does say the toyota 5 speed is strong enough to handle the v8 if you dont abuse it. why would i even do a v8 swap if i wasnt going to abuse it.:

I think it's the perfect swap for you NAM
Although it may be too much power for you!

I'm going vortec 5.3 t56 6 speed no body lift or trans tunnel cut required

Check out this guys 89 with an 04 GTO driveline
    Test drive time. - LS1TECH
This is the same as any lsx, vortec, ls1-2-3 swap
A 5.3 is the cheapest way... mine is a 326 ci motor with 320hp 340ft aluminum block from an 05 Sierra got it shipped to me for 850$
    Came as a complete pullout
I'm using corvette engine accessories for better clearance
The trucks have a tall intake and the waterpump and belts are further forward
Guys drop them in hotrods all the time since they have more engine room
Gm finally built a motor that out lasts there trucks
Meaning most of the wrecks get there motors pulled for hot rods and swaps not as stock replacement motors
Steel block vortec 4.8's and 5.3's can be had low mileage for under $500
And there is a ton of bolt on parts and swap info
Can't wait to get back to mine
Guess I'll just have to suffer till I finish my 22rte build...
