Dunno how this one slipped past my radar but IMO a great buy for someone. Unfortunately my wife would kill me if I snatched it up first hahahaha 1972 1st Gen Hilux $1200, Winters CA https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/winters-1972-hilux/6986068742.html
Probably more like 275K. Those 5 digit odometers fool a lot of people. Probably worth the $ just for the ID tag.
running/driving 1973 pre-smog for $900 in Sacramento area: https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/north-highlands-1973-toyota-hiluxruns/7068626972.html

I'm really tempted to pick this up. Started at $1000 and seller has since dropped the price. I'd really like to see some pictures of the floors.
Well the ad DOES say the price will go up (assuming as he works on it). Either way it's a pre-smog and somewhere like CA with tough emissions, I think it's worth it to someone

I never looked into smog stuff. Is the an age cut off or is it if the vehicle came with the equipment it has to pass? Happy here is Washington emissions just totally went away this year.
All I know is that in California it can only be smog exempt if its a 75 or older gas engine or a 97 or older diesel
Wow no fun. It was 25 years here. After smoke um if you got um. I think if you lived in certain city's you did have to test as well. Cali needs to get it figured out. The reasons emissions was dropped here is because it isn't making a difference anymore. Maybe even at all. Anyway heres a good one. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/899406053810016/
