i was thinking of making the ends black. I've seen them like that on a few 4Runners.

I'm not really an artist. i mean, i could do some stuff, but this was just basic imaging i guess. I've seen some of my friends actually draw using illustrator and stuff.

gonna pick up a few rental tools today. mainly ball joint pullers then start work this afternoon!

had time to throw in the steering center link, nitro drop 2 shocks up front and the 3.5" lowering blocks and lowered the front a bit more this afternoon. that center link was a bitch!

did an at-home string alignment yesterday and it came out a lot better! I had crazy toe in on both sides after the suspension and steering replacement parts. set up the string and jack stands. adjusted the 'turnbuckle' to measure correctly and BAM!! drives a lot better. good enough to take it to an alignment place in the next coming days.

been a little busy with the truck. thought I'd give a little update

'fixed' my crack dash with a dash mat. fits pretty good. had to use more Velcro than it came with, but overall, looks pretty good.

restored the old, faded license plates. i think the off-white was a good choice for the base color. used my wife's die-cutting machine to make the vinyl graphics and tag numbers.

new 7" touchscreen stereo and 4" kickers. now i just need to download more music videos and throw some tv shows on it.

picked up new foam for my bench. i already got the new cover. might have time this weekend to replace it. gotta shape the foam a little bit more and round off the edges.

and new, old-school GReddy shift knob. now i have something to match my tailgate LOL! just waiting for my buddy to make me a 4 speed sticker for it and get my polished, nardi woodgrain to match.

all that's left for the interior is the carpet and make my own door cards.

Oh ooof, the throwbacks are strong with this one; Looking so good, hope ur still out there! I fixed my 05 t4r's blown airbags in much the same way you did there with your dash

The custom plates are just spectacular, that's legal? I guess you wouldn't get much guff for it and it looks amazing!
