well, i was on ebay, and i decided to buy those "Diamond Cut Halo Headlights" for my Toyota, have you guys bought them?

Oliver (A.K.A. Raffaeli) told me not to buy them because there so cheap and made out of plastic (but the thing says there made out of glass!!)
oh well, lol.. i'm still waiting in them, ordered them yesterday, might install HID's instead of having the regular bulb, but that will be later on....
what do YOU GUYS think over these lights?
are they good, bad, HORRIBLE, you don't know, what? i need opinions please! thanks a lot!..

it depends on the seller. some seem pretty nice. others ive heard are crap. ive had a few sets on various trucks and my only complain is the ones on my 78 were really deep and i had to cut the core support. and that the diameter of the circle didnt fit my buckets. most are fiberglass base with glass lens. they arent very strong glass so dont smack anything into them.

Mine cracked after a year, maybe it was a bumble bee that hit it...

The center piece inside that deflects the light fell off about 6 months of use...

You get what you pay for bro.... Just don't hit any bumble bee's and go offroading and they should work fine!

yeah. i broke one too. damn gaurdrails. lol.

i broke a few actually. i spent extra on a good set this time around. for ebay prices, $70 shipped with bulbs wasnt the cheapest. thats for sure. but the old small circles are tougher to find though

ive actually seen much cheaper. the larger circle and large square are much more common lights, so they have more sellers offering them. the 78 and back hilux 5-3/4" lights arent very common sizes these days.

here are some comparison pics, so far, i do like the freakin halo and the bright as.s light!!!

[[on that first picture, the halo is lit up, you'd have to pay some close attn. to be able to see it :) ]]

OH YEAH AND SOMETHING I FORGOT TO MENTION IS THAT I DID NOT LIKE THE FACT THAT I HAD TO MODIFY THE FREAKING BKT, I HAD TO TAKE MY FKING TWO SPINNING WHEELS THAT GRIND STEEL.... lol i forget the name of it... but it has two wheels and both sides, and i use it to sharpen knives or sort of grind stuff...

well that front part is glass, but the rear case and that crap is plastic... piece of junk right derr...
but yea, im afraid of installing HID... well, imma have two sets... they have antoher set online where it like all glass (case and front)... so i might end up buying that for my HID's later on... these are WHITE halo's... they are ****ing clean bro! they look so dam awesome.... the bulbs they come with are pretty cool... 5000K.... not bad for a wannabe HID.. lol

btw, it also depends what seller you buy it from...

the link where i bought it from is posted @ post #5 on pg. 1 of this thread...

Ok guys... Well, here's the "Mini Review":

on a scale of 1-5, 1 the lowest, 3 "eh", and 5 being the best!

Looks: 4.5, Why? Because my left halo is a bit dim, but can still be seen...

Performance: 5, Why? They are equally bright and you can see really good!

Price: 4, Why? All though they are excellent, shipping could have been free!!!

Durability: N/A or (3), Why? Well, it cannot yet be determined how long they will last, but I rate it a 3 for the Casing being Plastic, C'mon! Labor is cheap as hell! Should of spent another 5 cents and made it out of glass!! GOSH!!!(Made in China:puke:)

So far, I drove around in it and I liked it... they are nice and bright!...

Here's a couple pics and video will be uploaded shortly...

    Before/After Flick!...
