I have the rear addco bar. I could not be happier. Now if I could find time to install the front one. I recomend the addco bar.

Yeah the thicker sway bar limits the amount of side to side body roll.

its a torsion bar connected to the left and right suspension.

think of it like a paper clip bent out into a Boxed U. lift one side and the other will go up.

the sway bar is "fixed" onto the frame. When you take a right turn, the right suspension will go down and the body weight will transfer to the left side. But the as the left side compresses and goes up, it'll make the right side go up.

basically it tries to even out the ride.

When it comes to sway bars you want them to fit as tight the frame as possible, & a bigger O.D. & of coarse use poly bushings!
I use Quickor bars as made of chrome-moly spring steel for more strength .
The rear bar works fine with the truck bagged & fuel cell @ rear of axle.
Front bar is going to be remade because running tubular a-arms & bags ,will have to have mounting point behind lower arm ,not in middle of!
