so the 22rte is a big no no then, umm well ill just stick to the 22r then thanks for the heads up on that 22rte well ima start to look into places for rebuilt engines and what not, ima slowly start my project off and see where i go off from there... thanks for the help

As was stated, driveability/reliablity. At mileage the turbo seals goes out and is significant damage to the wallet. In stock form, it was just a first generation Turbo EFI motor. Kind of like driving the first automatics - you can do it, but there are many better options available, however the tried and true stick still reigns supreme.
