    Once its broken in a bit more, I'll put bigger jets and NGK's in. I want to find a 38/38 and a 34/34 for parts. I want to make a 34/38 progressive. Just cause. :D

    I dunno. I'm bugging all the people I know to find an old one they upgraded from or never used. I'm a cheapass. Thats why I don't have bags or big rims either. :lol:

    Here's a few photos I took today when I did the valves.

    Haha. I don't wanna beat on the truck too much til its all properly seated. And I don't have a cam yet, so it might be close but you'd still take the win.

    The head is basically stock. Mild port to take the casting flash down, and larger valves by about 1mm. The intake and exhaust flow real well though.

    Shot a video of an onramp pull today. Battery died towards the end of it. I hit about 85-90 I think. And I got some new photos of it at a graffiti spot in Seattle. If anybody cares, the spot is down the road from the upcoming Seattle HiLux Meet.

    Note: My camera died during the video. And I am still running a stock cam. :lol:, so for the mods I have its a little beast.

    Right now my setup is this:

    * '81 22R block w/ .020" over stock dome style pistons
    * Later style 20R head with bigger exhaust valves, and a general rebuild. Not decked that I know of.
    * Weber 32/36. Choke horn cut off. Rejetted to 70/60 idles, 145/150 mains. Will up mains further.
    * Highly ported non-egr 20R intake manifold.
    * Autolite copper plugs. I plan to try the NGK V powers.
    * MSD Blaster 2 coil w/ stock ignitor
    * Taylor Spiralcore 8.2mm wires. Direct fit kit for 20/22R.
    * Stock replacement '78 style distributor w/ new cap and rotor.
    * Pacesetter 4-1 header, w/ 1-5/8" primaries and 2-1/2" collector.
    * 2" Collector reducer (came with the header) into 2-1/2" tube, then to a 2-1/2" Flowtech Afterburner muffler
    * W55 5 speed with modified celica shifter arm and stock style flywheel/clutch
    * G082 rearend. 4.10 non-lsd.
    * I'm running 80/90W in the trans and rearend with no additives.
    * Penzoil 10-40W in the motor, with 20% HyperLube additive.

    I think that's everything. I dunno. Its quick, but I'm used to it. :lol:

    Yeah, depending how hard I shift. And if my clutch is being menstrual or not. Sometimes it just slips a bit. Sometimes it will spin them. A good chirp is most common. After I cam it, it'll probably be more like yours.
