I finally got it repositioned in my driveway for the final stages of work before I send it to the hot rod shop to be transformed.

Did you get it running? it would be fun to take it for a drive. Take it to the Ritz-Carlton and ask them to valet for you:)

No, it's not running yet. The motor is locked up somehow. I need to pull the head and see if I can see more. I will be going off the hot rod shop soon, to be where it will be chopped down to begin the process.

Well it is now at the shop where the transformation can begin. Look for future updates as I get them from the shop.

I am now not sure what engine to use. I want to try and use the 22R for at least awhile. I was always thinking a turbo 2JZ for my final engine, but now I'm not sure. I have considered using a turbo 3RZ.

Niiice. What vehicle is that subrame out of?

I keep telling my wife someday she's going to come home and see an SC300/SC400 in the yard so I can do this exact thing to my Hilux, lol.

Got the track nose that will go on the front of the truck.

I also picked up a 01 Lexus 2JZ-GE with ECU, harness and everything or $700.

Wow, this will be one hell of a build. Any reason you didn't consider the 1JZ, vs the 2JZ?
