wheels and tires (great tread) for 100 bucks...couldnt pass it up.

Truck goes two tone red and black, wheels get lips repolished matching red centers and wet&black tires all the time.

Update. From measurements...20R is looking to be nearly bolt in. Radiator is going to be changed to a thinner, but wider aluminum one to gain some space up front as the 20 sticks out a bit far.

Swapped 75-78 disc brakes onto my 67 stout...Direct bolt on swap.. Nice!

Built 20r and 5 speed this week and next weekend.

Trip to pull and save to get a brake booster for power brakes!

So the 20r and 5 speed are swapped in and mounted, custom radiator and lines done, rear axle has been swapped to the 78 as well (bigger/better parts supply and options for diff). Have just a few odds and ends to wrap up to get this sucker goin.
Moving the fuel tank into the bed, Need to get the ignitor and alternator wired up, battery cables ran to bed and battery hooked up. Then its just having my driveshaft shortened and throwing the bed back on....shouldnt take too much longer to be DD'ing it.

Also, the rear has been dropped a bit via leaf removal and blocks. Most likely going to run bigger blocks to get lower but want to get the front down some to see where the ride stands.

    Here are some pictures...

Still have a bunch more but just not on this computer.

Rear section of the frame has been cleaned and coated. Upper shock mounts moved more vertical on the frame, leafs removed and temp blocks in.

wrapping u engine stuff this weekend hoping to get it started while I wait to get my driveshaft shortend.

    More pics to come.

Next week should be working more on its stance....

Have since swapped in a nicely painted 77 rear axle (bigger and more part availability for the brakes, better options for rear end gearing aswell) and got the leafs painted up aswell.

its a roof flashing available at home depot/lowes/etc. make sure you get one with low asphalt/tar levels as hot summers can produce some in cabin smells. was about 52 bucks in all to do it all.
