You could strip them and polish them. They will look very close to chrome. haha I am a huge fan of the polished alloy compared to chrome.
its not that i dont like em, they look pimp but, they just aint my preferred style for my trucks. i want to go with a 15" wheel by real wide, and stretch the tires some. i tried these out just cus.....
what???? i thought +38 is what i needed.. i was lied to haha plus even if they did fit i was torn cause i could not find a set local that was decently priced when i could spend a few hundo more for some boss 335s
Depends on the width. I have 7" wide with +35 and they cut it pretty close. Even on my red truck, same wheels with a narrowed 90s clip, they have about 1/2" of room. I had some 8" on it before with +42 or +45 and they tucked about the same. You have to remember the 79-83 has the same track width as newer trucks, but is about 2" narrower than an 84-88.
yeah i need to see how my 18s off the datsun fit this truck and gunna try bernies 20s with i think he said +28 and go from there. boss 335s are +25 not hole lot difference might have to make it work. you taking your truck to WCN Seth?
that is a good price with tires i bought the same exact rims from les schwab without tires for 300 and just paid more to get tires on them , i love those rims though man good luck selling them u should have no problem, do u have the lunuts i need them?
i cleared some 16x8 with -10 offset on the 86...... given i massaged them some in order to tuck but they cleared....... credit card kinda squeaked through though anyhow, i think they may clear but easy enough, you would just have to do a test fit to be sure. hence the only shot i know of with those wheels mounted on a 3rd gen VVV i dont have the lugs for them. these wheels are pretty damn clean and straight. whoever comes up on them will be happy.
