Ok so jus one more guestion, does the axle shafts slide in the side gears all the way to the pin or does it not pass all the way through the side...
This is some i would like to know too. But i was also thinking of removing the locking mecanism on the stock e-break
^and now its dead!! Lol
Yeah i kinda was welding the piss out of it. It poped when it was cooling. So what your saying is its probably cracked on the inside?
If they do smog testing then you should leave the cat but change out the piping after the cat for a bigger diameter one with a performance muffler...
Cant see any cracks now. What will it look like when the break clean dries if there is a crack??
Um no i didnt.. Do you really need to? Doesnt the axle shaft spin in the housing, so it could align itself into the carrier?
Baisically SR5 going get nicer interior; bucket seats, center console, cloth door pannels, vent windows on the doors, 5speed, chrome, door...
yeah and had center console too right??
Is your rear end welded or do you have a locker??
how can you widen the stock wheels??
factory bucket seats and center console are a dead give away. maybe even power locks and window
so truck got painted about a month ago. Its charcoal grey, a factory nissan color, got a chrome front bumper, & polished up my rims.
I welded the gears together, then the gears to the carrier, then welded a 1/4 inch plate between the gears.
So weld my diff just now. Welded the spiders and side gears together then welded in the first plate, but when I got done and it was cooling there...
Dont think they need to be cut,& the u-bolts hold everything together.
Do what NAM said and put the blocks under the wrap and on top the leaf spring, instead of between the wrap and the perch
Changed diff oil, removed tailgate and gathered all my stock rims, found six of um. So with the spare altogether i got seven.
Im not to familiar with those motors, but there are quite a few guys on here that have done the swap as well as boosting them. Try the searching...
If your going the turbo route you should look into the 2rz engine, handles boost better than the 3rz
