I have kicker 8" midbass in the lower door, sound pretty good. There crossed over at 80 to 250, great midbass.
Kick panels get I the way of my feet, they cover the foot rest on the kick panel.
I did a 8" midbass in the door, with a four mid in the dash, and a 1" tweeter in the upper door corner, works great!!!!!
The chrome looks more mini truckin mag style, love em. The five stars are more sport orientated.

I have the lc, and couldn't be happier!!! I would weld the extension on instead of using the set screws though.
