There's one more filter in the back near the fuel tank. Look underneath the truck near where the fuel filler door is and you should find it.
Sawzall is a pretty quick way to cut the bumpstops; you don't even have to take them off the truck.
I used to have one of those also. I got rid of it when I got my truck. It was fun but needed a lot of work and I had too many projects already....

Are the carbs synchronized? More advance should also help. My base timing is about 15 degrees advanced.
