    While it is idling, Push firmly on the black electrical plug on the back of the alternator. Be careful of the fan. Mine did the exact same thing...

    To remove the fenders, does the hood cowl where the wiper arms reside have to come off ? Are there any bolts on the fender under the cowl ?...
