back in the 80's a lot of people were running 2 small spike like bumpers on each side of the back, wasn't a bumper per say but looked like 2 small...

number is.. it's an 8" G662, indicating 3.07 gears and an 8" diff and 2 pinion open carrier tranny is a W46 4spd..
most of my driving is open highway, love my 3.07's
got the 2 new rear steel brake lines bent and installed WOOT - Indian has brakes again ! ! ! bled them all till I had nice clear fluid thru...
yes it's annoying as hell.. time to rip that out
