Did you have any security devices, fuel cut off ect? I almost want to somehow immobilize mine just because of how easy it would be too steal.

You should look into other Media for blasting, like baking soda, walnuts, etc. Harbor freight has a cheap soda blasting kit, it may be worth a shot.
