hmmmm. I would start with the ground. Fuel system problems always suck. And check your filter. sometimes a jolt to the pump can draw crap in.
FYI, that taco is not flat black. Its semi-gloss/satin finish. Flat black looks like a chalk board. satin is what you want :)
