I recently picked up an 88 standard cab shortbed. Has a 2" body drop, cranked torsions and flipped upside down leafs mounted to top of axle. I put a set of 15s on to see how it sat, and here it was.

I am doing a prerunner project so it already has a bit of a lift. I flippes the springs to be arched and took the torsions all the way up. Debating a build thread here since it is a 2wd Toyota but not the norm here. I'm not on 4wd sites,
I just love it here lol

I wonder how it rode with flipped leafs. Did you snap a pic of how it was set up?

Here is where mine is at right now. The shocks are bottoming out bad, they only have about 1/2 inch travel if that.

Full ball joint flip and 3" blocks. Still need to do spacers on the ball joints. :waytogo:

Do you have a pic of the dash? Is it custom or from another vehicle?

so just put new 18s on my truck gotta drop it back down now but im already running 5 in blocks in the rear how much do you think i can pull out of removing the center leaf in the back. if not how much can you pull out of flipping the rear leafs and how much of a pain is it. i know the front torsions can be played with quite a bit all i did before was spindles and a bj flip. haven't even cut the bumpstops yet. im not afraid to cut the wheel wells just havent had a reason.... yet will have pics up soon working on a temp paintjob now tired of it being 5 colors

You are going to need to c notch the frame in order to pull the center leafs since you are already on 5 inch blocks.

Speaking of scraping everything, I hit a small dip while changing lanes this morning and scraped on the little lane reflectors. :headbang:

4" blocks in the back. Cranked torsions and BJ flip in the front (no washers).
15" rims. Forgot the tire sizes, but I believe 205-65 rear, and 195-60 front.

Haven't dropped the back but 2 inches should be lower when I put the 5in blocks on

My '73 has 4 inch blocks out back, 3.5 coils cut up front with the rubber coil isolators removed, and I believe I'm on 205/60/15s.
