It is very doable. As mike said looke at his thread, you can look at mine but I've got a v6. Some differences but mainly the same. One of the best...
They had a made setup like factory does. I guess if you really wanted to and got the measurements correct you could just use some 4 link tabs...
Just looked at a set of Michigan metal works and they use the factory mounting plate on the frame. Only difference is they use like a Dakota ball...
