Theyre buckets i pulled from a 73 Hilux at a JY. Theyre the low back ones with no headrests. They were trashed so I had them refoamed and reupholstered. Vinyl with a diamond stiched tweed center. I fuckin love them

Straight up! They look classy; really fit the truck. I was checking out the gauges last night from Speedhut and I noticed the 4” combo set they sell with the speedo/tach and the quad cluster; is there any reason you didn’t want to go with dual gauge setup and change both out at one time? Just wondering cause I’ve been kicking around the idea. Thanks

Thanks man, i figure il be spending a good amount of time in that truck so might as well have something nice to sit on.

As far as the gauges go, I already had the Autometer carbon fiber volt and engine temp gauges laying around. I really just needed a speedo. I went with the speedo/tach combo just to clean up the interior a bit since i had the autogage tach sitting on the column(it was annoying me how it looked)

I may eventually get the quad gauge and eliminate the other 2 if $ allows it some time next year

Do you happen to have a daytime pic of your headlights? I’m curious to see how they look sitting in the grille.
    Thanks!

    Thank you.

I actually just put some red LEDs in the autometer gauges and the fuel gauge so everything matches the speedo now.

Although i am debating on ordering a fuel leve/oil pressure gauge through speedhut right now since theyre having 20% off. Dont think its guna happen

Went into the garage last night. Decided to drop to gas tank and try to figure out why the gauge doesnt read anything.

I disconnected the wire to the sender, grounded it and the gauge moved. So im trying to tweak the sender so itl read the correct ohm range

Ok i think i found the damn problem. Soldered in a small piece of thin gauge wire now im actually getting a reading. Tested the sender outside of the tank but hooked up to the wiring and its good. Now i just have to reassemble everything

Well for Xmas my Fiancé ended up getting me a Forever Sharp steering wheel and i finally received the NRG hub the other day so last night i got it all installed. Pretty easy install. Only thing i did have an issue with was the contact for the horn on the back of the wheel is in a different position than what i needed for the hub. Easy fix tho, just had to give it a gentle pull up and done.

So ive confirmed that NRG short hub SRK-120 does in fact fit the early gen 2 trucks.

Well the first issue came up last night. Drove to a BBQ at a friends house and a small section of hose at the heater core sprung a leak. Wasnt too bad. Figured it out last night and fixed it earlier today. Now i just need to add more coolant for what was lost during the leak and repair.

Hopefully il get that done tomorrow
