I'm looking for a good quality cold air intake for my 1994 mini with 22RE. The one that I have now has no mounting bracket for it and it is being held in place by zip ties right now. I don't like how many joints it has. I want a solid polished or powder coated one that looks nice and comes with mounting hardware. Does TRD make one?

    Any suggestions? Pics?

All so called Cold Air Systems I've seen draw hot air from the engine bay!! Any true Cold Air System must draw cold air from outside the engine bay!
I built mine to do just that, draws air from two out side areas, under the passenger side front wheel well & from under & behind the from bumper & through a revised cone K&N filter

What Truck Action poctures is a good example of what you need. I can't say I've ever seen a good "cold" air intake for a 22re, most are just a cheap cone filter with some tube and no baffle. K&N makes an attempt but not much.

Personally I like the idea of doing a battery/intake swap like Truck Action did as well. I've seen some use either a cone or squeeze the stock plastic box in there. I've not come off many examples of the latter but it can be done

What I built for my 22RE LC Pro Street engine is very good ,draws cold air from outside from two sources through a large reverse cone K&N filter & is sealed from any hot engine bay air!! See the above photo's & this photo, that would be the polished plate to the left front the engine bay, I have sense modified the top removable cover so mostly clear to see the filter! This works very well & pass smog checks here in Cali with no problems!!

You have a really clean engine bay however, the one thing that sticks out like a sore thumbs is the black rubber half moon. ever thought of putting in aluminum ones?
