    Hey all,

I used to own a 1974 Hilux and was looking to get back into them. Looking for a 75-78 now to get the 20R and front discs that I had to swap into my old one. I’m located in New Jersey but am willing to travel, and my budget is $8000. Thanks!

Just seeing that, that thing seems like a deal. Long bed is definitely a preference too. Might have to look into shipping quotes. Not sure how Cali does things. It says no registration since 98 but has the pink slip. Is that Cali equivalent to a title?

Pink slip is the main thing to show its yours, so it should in theory be good to go.

Well that was quick. Thanks JJ! Just made a deal with the 77 and I’m organizing getting it shipped to Jersey. Glad I’ll back back in the Mini Toyota family! Since getting rid of my 74 I owned an 88 4Runner and currently have an 87 FJ60 so fortunately never left classic Yotas entirely, but time to brush up on my knowledge and read some build threads

Yeah from now until it comes it’s just gonna be stressing about it haha. Especially since I sold my only car so all I’ve got is the motorcycle to get to work til it comes hahaha

Honestly I wish I had the time to fly and drive it. I priced it out this morning and I think I could do it cheaper than shipping it but I don’t have the time off from work to burn

That would be a nice Roadkill style trip. Shipping anything via semi truck is guna be EXPENSIVE right now

Yea it may sound cheaper. But it can get pricey and time consuming real quick if you start having truck troubles going cross country.. still would be a hell of a trip!
