If I had the money, and I was going to buy a truck that was already nice or at least had a good clean start, I think Id go 2500 to 3k on that. why do you want to sell though ?

Not another nice truck going up for sale. 3k is a good price for the amount of work you have into it.

Well i dont want to sale it but me and my wife are selling our house and moving and going back to school. I want to get my engineering degree and she needs to start school. I am hoping I can sale my house for what i owe but i dont think that will happen. I am not wanting to sale it at all and dont really need to but it will be easier on me. I could go down to $2800 but I will keep it before i sale it for much less.

Well the motor is completely stock and I think that is the only thing that would affect it right? Everything is completely stock except the drop kit wheels and seats.

There you go dgerfan55. That would make a great replacement truck for you. Once you put your truck back to stock and sell your parts you'd be set.

When I blew my head gasket the second time I got fed up with my truck and put it on CL. I put it up for $2500 with a blown head gasket and got tons of emails, but most were low ball offers. Remember sentimental value gets you $hit in the real market, however, with gas prices high and getting higher, the market now for small engine efficient vehicles is high..I'd say $2500 disregarding the circumstances and $3k now!!

I think to get it smog in Cal, all you need is to change the cat conveter. At lease thats what my co-worker had to do with a civic he got from Neveda. By the way that is a nice truck. Love all the stuff you've done to it especially the interior.

Do it man that's a clean truck. and registering out of state is simple, my truck is originally form the state of Wyoming. and from the looks of it, its still the stock cat. all you have to do is pass the smog check. When I bought mine mine was all ready registered in Cali. the truck pass smog with the emissions control module bypassed,

If ID is a non title state you would need a bill of sale, and apply for registration and title for the Cali DMV. it would be simple you cant go wrong. call the dmv or check out there web site, they have the info there.

If that truck ended up in a junkyard it would fetch more than $3000. Toyota parts are getting hard to find in Idaho, (clean ones anyway). Post it on craigslist Im sure someone from Boise, Twin, or SLC will end up buying it. Im positive if you start at $3700 you'll get $3-3200 for it in Boise.

    Shoot I might buy it.

i'm just sayin either sellit to james (dgrfan) or dont sell it at all. clist kids buy these things, abuse the crap out of them and before you know it its junk in a few weeks or less. i've seen it happen here in porland all too many times. my 91-junk when i bought it, my current 86-at least it gets me to work and back for now, my prez's new 95 taco (ill post up pics of some of the toyotas from my club sometime this week or so.)-was nice the last time i saw it, but that was 5 years ago, now junk. i still kik myself everytime i think about my last 86. i'm not holding my breath on ever seeing that truck again but i'd sure love to have it if it was as nice as before. did anyone read mike finnigan's (sp?) editorial in street trucks about when he was contacted about buying back burnt taco?? that truck went to crap real quick, and it was offered back in totalled condition with a blown motor and a bad paint job with janky rims. at least if james bought it, you know itd go somewhere to be appreciated and all your hard work would actuall be taken care of.that said, i'm gonna be late for work.

If anyone is serious PM me. I do not want to sale it unless it is to a TM member. I wont put it on craigslist i am not that desperate to get rid of it. I will probably have it for awhile so let me know.
